Inhoud nascholing
In deze nascholing zullen de meest recente inzichten en beschikbare data over de effectiviteit van antipsychotica bij de behandeling van schizofrenie en de verschillen in bijwerkingenprofiel worden besproken. Tevens zal gebaseerd op de literatuur van onder andere de dopaminehypothese van psychose en schizofrenie de werking van antipsychotica op receptorniveau worden besproken. In het bijzonder zal hierbij nader worden ingegaan op het mechanisme van de groep partieel dopaminereceptor-agonisten. Tot slot zullen tijdens een interactief gedeelte middels casuïstiek en voorbeelden uit de dagelijkse praktijk adviezen worden gedeeld rondom starten, stoppen, switchen of doorgaan.
