The Clinical Leadership and Care Redesign program will train up to 70 employees in the management frameworks
and leadership strategies needed to reach Sophia Children’s Hospital’s strategic goals of improving patient care,
growing in organizational performance, and improving outcomes of the care delivery system. Topics to be
explored include operational design, strategy, efficiency, change leadership, and innovation, as well as service
excellence, and team building.

The program curriculum combines Harvard Business School style case discussions with open discussions, lectures
and structured exercises. Attendees will be divided into five working groups based on the
current profiling centers. Teams will be assigned group specific assignments for completion in-between the inclass
modules. The program and the specific assignments will act together to form the starting point of the work
required to meet the strategic goals of efficiency, growth, cooperation and innovation in the coming years.
