2nd International Symposium and Workshop on
Endoscopic and minimally invasive management of nerve entrapment
of the upper extremity (Hoffmann technique)
May 12th and 13th 2011
University Medical Center Groningen
The Netherlands
After the highly successful 1st course with more than 20 participants from all over the world, we invite you to join us in Groningen in May 2011.
The symposium and workshop are designed for hand surgeons, plastic surgeons, neurosurgeons and any surgeon interested in the surgical treatment of eripheral nerves and particularly in the endoscopic and minimally invasive management of nerve entrapment of the upper extremity. The emphasis of the symposium and workshop is on endoscopic management of Cubital tunnel syndrome. But other nerve entrapments (Carpal tunnel syndrome, Pronator syndrome, Radial tunnel syndrome and Wartenberg syndrome) and their endoscopic treatment are also included.
We offer the opportunity to learn the surgical technique not only by observing live operations during the symposium but by performing them on cadaver specimens (lifelike Thiel fixation) under the tutorship of top experts in this field. (No more than two participants per arm!)
There will be first class presentations on clinical, anatomical and surgical technical details related to entrapment syndromes as well as lectures on neurophysiology, neuroultrasound and neuroradiological MRI techniques.
Best regards,
Mike Ruettermann
