We at Medtronic are always striving to contribute to improve patient care and quality of life over time by developing high quality devices, therapies and services. In close cooperation with the healthcare providers within Stroke we are aiming to detect where the pre- hospital phase of the patient care pathway can be improved resulting in optimal treatment of Stroke patients. The Stroke departments of UMCU and Nieuwegein, led by dr. Bart van der Worp and dr Wouter Schonewille would like to organize a Stroke meeting for the PSC in their adherence area. This meeting will be informative and consulting as well with main goal to achieve closer cooperation and more uniform protocol policy. Due to Medtronic experience in this field we will be supporting them on the set up of the agenda and attendance during the meeting itself. When the hurdles are detected we will expect a follow up meeting to be planned to go more deep into detail.
