Nowadays cochlear implantation (CI) is firmly established as a mode of rehabilitation for adults and children with a severe to profound hearing loss. In the past years we have seen ever improving results, with increasing numbers of patients mastering open set
speech understanding. This course, primarily intended for experienced ENT-specialists, focuses on current insights and (near) future possibilities of cochlear implantation in relation to advances in radiologic imaging.
During this course we will evaluate the pre-operative, intraoperative and post-operative assessments of cochlear imaging.
