The lecture of Michael Hase focuses on the history of depression treatment in EMDR therapy and on the current science behind EMDR treatment of depression. 

Dr. Michael Hase is a psychiatrist and EMDR Senior Trainer. He was a researcher in the EDEN study. Together with Dr. Arne Hofmann, Hase was awarded the Outstanding Research Award for his research on the EMDR treatment of depression and the creation of the international research project “EMDR Depressian European Network” by the board of directors of the EMDR International Association in 2015
