Basic course MR-Linac in Radiotherapy for radiation oncologists (in training), medical physicists (in training) and RTTs

Course content

Recently, the MR-Linac has been introduced as an innovative treatment delivery system under real-time image-guidance with a 1.5T MRI. Due to this trend in radiation oncology it has become necessary to train staff about the implementation, interpretation and workflow of the MR-Linac.

This course is intended for radiation oncologists (in training), medical physicists (in training) and radiation therapists, who want to learn about the application of the MR-Linac in radiotherapy. The course will go into all the aspects of working with the MR-Linac, from regular workflow, treatment planning options, adaptive modii like 'adapt-to-shape' and 'adapt-to-position' and alternative workflows. Technical and physics aspects of the MR-Linac will also be discussed.

The course will be given on May 29th 2019, commencing at 18.30 until 21.45. The course language is Dutch.
