This is the 11th European Meeting on Molecular Diagnostics (EMMD) to be held from October 09 - 11, 2019 at Grand hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk aan Zee, The Netherlands.

The meeting will be covering the full spectrum of Human Molecular Diagnostics with a strong emphasis on new technological developments and innovative applications in the diagnosis, monitoring and screening of human diseases, in the areas of Clinical Microbiology, Virology, Pathology, Oncology, Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Genetics and Pharmacogenetics..

Presentations will consist of invited-lectures by internationally renowned experts in combination with selected abstract presentations. Poster sessions and industrial exhibits will be an integrated part of the meeting. A number of business meetings of participating societies and exhibitors will be organized in conjunction with EMMD 2019.

The EMMD is well known for its informal and open atmosphere in combination with high-level presentations and exchange of scientific progress.

European Meeting on Molecular Diagnostics

De European Meeting on Moleculair Diagnostics is een 2-jaarlijks congres, welke 3 dagen duurt. Voor 2024 zijn de data 9 t/m 11 oktober. Tijdens dit congres vinden verschillende plenaire sessies plaats met onderwerpen gerelateerd aan de moleculaire diagnostiek, zoals moleculaire diagnostiek in pathologie, in virologie, in medische microbiology, technische ontwikkelingen in moleculaire diagnostiek, etc. Deze sessies worden voorgezeten door experts op de diverse gebieden en zij geven lezingen hierover met aansluitend tijd voor discussie en vragen. Tevens kunnen deelnemers vooraf Abstracts indienen over de betreffende onderwerpen en een aantal hiervan wordt door het comité geselecteerd om deze mondeling te presenteren tijdens de desbetreffende sessie.
