The division of Nephrology of the Academic Medical Center University of Amsterdam has organized PD University courses since 1993.

More than 500 nephrologists from many European countries received post-graduate training in theoretical and practical aspects of peritoneal dialysis. Nowadays many PD University Basic Courses are held in various parts of the world.

However, besides a PD University Basic Course, updates on recent developments are an integral part of continuous medical education in the field of peritoneal dialysis. Therefore the Division of Nephrology organized an Advanced Course of the Peritoneal Dialysis University Amsterdam.
It is a 3 days course that provides you with state-of-the-art lectures not only given by members of the Division of Nephrology, but also by well-known guest speakers. The program is divided into sections on current areas of interest, clinical topics and research and future perspectives.
