The ECPCA promotes and supports the management of cleft lip and palate deformities, and related craniofacial anomalies in Europe by organizing a multi-disciplinary European congress once every four years for dissemination of experience and knowledge in this field.
Theme of the 2019 congress is Future perspectives in research & therapy. With this theme possibilities such as robotic involvement in surgery, 3-D printing and future applications of regenerative medicine will be explored, but also include new developments in modalities eg. genetics in diagnosing craniofacial anomalies.
