This 2 day symposium will discuss recent developments in the area of Acute Pulmonary Injury, discussing both current state of the art treatment,a s well as novel therapeutic interventions using a translational approach. 

Learning goals are to become familiar with the evidence used to support the current recommendations for the treatment of patients with ARDS. Also, attendees will be introduced to the basic and translational research that will likely alter therapy for this disease within the next several years.
