10th Course MRI in radiotherapy 2018
Yearly course given from 26th to 28th of March at UMC Utrecht, department Radiotherapy.
In radiotherapy a trend is evident of increasing use of MRI in radiotherapy. Therefore, a need is created in radiation oncology to learn about implementation, interpretation and workflow of MRI for radiotherapy applications. This course is intended for radiation oncologists, residents, medical physicists and trainees, who want to learn about the usage of MRI specifically for radiotherapy. It is also open for participants with different backgrounds. In response to the needs of a mixed audience with clinicians, physicists and PhD students, we try to balance between a physical and a clinical scope to meet your interest as good as possible.
The aim of the course is to give an introduction in the clinical and physical aspects of MRI in radiotherapy from a practical point of view. In the afternoon, practical examples will be studied in hands-on sessions.
The course will be given on 3 consecutive days from 9:30 till the end of the afternoon 17:30. The course language is English. Lunch will be served near the auditorium. For master students the course is free of costs. For staff members, the fee is € 600,-, for trainees and PhD students the fee is € 300,-. After application, you will receive information about payment. For registration please visit MRI in Radiotherapy basic course.
CME points are requested at the NVRO and NVKF.
Please register before March 12th .
