This course is a 2.5-day course for health professionals and health researchers who want to understand the basics of health economics and its relevance to the health service.
It will include key guidelines for health economic evaluations and a ‘jargon buster’ session on the basics of health economics and economic models. Furthermore, it will cover the concept of ‘cost of illness’ studies. There will be opportunities for hands-on practice.
