Tijdens de trainings-dag van de VGCt (sectie stemmen, achterdocht en andere bijzondere belevingen) staan de volgende vragen centraal:

• Slaagt CGT voor psychose als iemand pillen weigert?
• Zo ja: hoe dan?
• Wat is beter: CGT, antipsychotica of de combinatie?
• Wat zijn voor- en nadelen van deze behandelingen?
• Hoe speelt de keuze van de patiënt een rol?
• Hoe pas je CGT toe bij geïnternaliseerd stigma?

Over deze kwesties bestaat nu actueel wetenschappelijk onderzoek in de klinische praktijk. In deze trainings-dag gaat Morrison onder andere in op CGT versus antipsychotica bij psychose. Hij presenteert de laatste, nog niet gepubliceerde data op dit gebied. Andere nieuwe inzichten passeren de revue in de ochtend. De middag bestaat uit training van CGT-vaardigheden, onder andere gericht op geïnternaliseerd stigma bij psychose.
