The 2017 program is centred around the collective quest for more and impactful personalized medicine & health solutions. Health-RI 2017 covers several key aspects of clinical and translational research, and is the place to showcase best practices in Biobanking, FAIR data management, Translational IT tools, ELSI, and Biomarker research.

Additionally, Health-RI 2017 will give an update on how the Netherlands is gearing up for a collective biomedical research infrastructure that maximally supports research projects, and boosts the value of existing and newly generated research and healthcare data. This conference offers an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded people from academia and industry, government, and health foundations to discuss your ideas and explore possible new collaborations.

Health-RI 2017 will discuss the latest developments and opportunities in:

  • Biobanking & Registries. Learn best practices for biobanking and registries as well as research using biobank material and registry data as a source.
  • FAIR data management. FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, re-usable) principles become more and more important in research. Learn how studies can prepare for the further implementation of these principles in data management.
  • Ethical and Legal (ELSI) aspects of translational and clinical research. Research with patient data is a responsible task. Learn how studies can be performed compliant with the latest legislation and how Health-RI supports researchers on this matter.
  • IT solutions. Learn what tools are available to support complex research projects, data collection, analysis and integration.
  • exciting translational and clinical science that makes use of the Health-RI infrastructure or components thereof.
