second Masterclass Advances in NVAF meeting will take place on
24–25 November 2017 at the Hilton Vienna Hotel, Vienna, Austria.
This interactive meeting, for approximately 250 experts
from across Europe, will provide an opportunity for in-depth
peer-to-peer scientific discussions on advancing patient-centred
care in NVAF.
The meeting format has been designed especially for your active
participation in each session. From workshops to interactive group
discussions and panel debates – you will all have the opportunity
to share your opinions and experiences, and learn from each other.

• How to put patients at the heart of stroke prevention in AF in order
to optimise patient care and adherence to maximise outcomes

• How to improve patient education, enabling them to be
more involved in treatment decisions
• What the future of anticoagulation therapy will bring, and
the impact effective screening and diagnosis of AF will
have not only for the patient, but also for public health
