Programme description:
The conference will cover all aspects of CLL and indolent lymphoma to state of the art treatment, from educational lectures to top notch science in this very rapidly moving field.

The goal of this conference is to foster scientific exchange between laboratory scientists and clinicians working on lymphoid malignancies worldwide. It is also to offer a unique educational and international networking opportunity to all attendees, including young trainees in haematology, the future leaders in the field.

A first-class selection of international speakers will guarantee the highest quality of science and a summary of the most recent developments in the biology and therapy of CLL and indolent lymphoma.

Educational objectives:
This conference aims to improve understanding of the:

- Principles and current developments of molecular pathogenesis of CLL and indolent lymhoma
- Range of prognostic markers and their impact in specific clinical situations
- Evolution of treatment principles in CLL and indolent lymhoma
- Development of promising new agents targeting disease biology

The program will include:
- Plenary Presentations
- Simultaneous Meet the Expert sessions
- Manned Poster Session
- Brief Oral Communications
- Controversial Debates

The European School of Haematology (ESH) is a non-profit institution for continuing education founded in 1986, to promote and facilitate access to state of the art and cutting-edge knowledge in haematology and related disciplines, at the European level.

ESH travels throughout all of Europe, North America, North Africa and the Middle East to organise conferences, training courses and laboratory workshops with a faculty of international experts selected for their scientific expertise and didactic skills.

ESH also develops tools for continuing education produced in collaboration with international experts in the field. They are available to scientists and clinicians free of charge and they are used throughout the world to train haematologists.
